Utilize and administer participant lists

The church can have a lot of different participants and lists are used to create and manage the participants. You can also communicate with them and possibly let them switch to another list if needed.

If your church has waiting lists for an event, it is also a good idea to create a participant list for this purpose, as it makes it easy to transfer them from waiting list to participant list.

On this page you can read about:

Create participant lists from form
Create participant lists from filter
Manage participant from contacts
Send message to participants

Create a participant list from a form

Find a form with responses and create a list of participants by clicking "Create list". If there's both parents and children you will get the opportunity to choose if you want a separate list for them or if they should be combined:

Check all those on the list (or those to be included in the participant list), select "Manage contacts" and click "Add/remove contacts from list":

Select the participant list you want to add them to and click "Apply" at the bottom. If necessary, create a new participant list by clicking the icon:

Create participants from a filter

Go to Contacts, select Lists in the black bar on the left and click on the list you want to create teams from.
Check the contacts that should be included in the team.
Click Manage contacts and select “Add/remove contacts from list”

Select the participant list you want to add them to and click "Apply" at the bottom. If necessary, create a new participant list by clicking the symbol:

Manage participant lists from contacts

In the contact's tab 3 (under Settings), team lists can be clicked on and off. So it's super easy to remove the contact from one list and add to another:

Send message to participant lists

Select Contacts and then Lists in the black bar.
Find the relevant list, click Send message and select e.g. email or SMS
