Reports and lists
The "Reports" section in the ChurchDesk calendar offers various ways to search, filter, and export calendar entries as lists or print them. This is particularly useful for managing events, worship services, time tracking, and absences.
Accessing Reports and Lists
- Open the dropdown menu in the top left corner next to the congregation name.
- Select Calendar.
- Click on Reports in the black sidebar on the left.
- You now have access to the modules Search, Worship Overview, Time Registration (only with the appropriate permission), and Absences.
"Search" Module
The Search function allows you to find and export calendar entries efficiently.
How to Use the Search:
- Select the desired filter criteria, such as:
- Time period
- Groups
- Event types
- Locations
- Users
- Visibility
- Click "Get result".
- The results will be displayed in a table.
- You can customize the columns by clicking "Show columns".
- Export or print the list:
- Excel export for further editing
- Print function to print the document or save it as a PDF
"Worship Overview" Module
Here, you can search for entries and generate a structured document as a worship schedule.
How to Create a Worship Overview:
- Use the same search and filter options as in the "Search" module.
- Select a template for the worship overview. If you are using "Studio", you will have more template options available here.
- Customize the content and choose which information should be included in the document:
- Parish
- Contributor
- Pastor/Priest or Celebrant
- Location names
- Price
- Short description
- Intentions
- Click Confirm – the file will be automatically downloaded as a PDF.

- Check if a pop-up blocker is enabled.
- Review your browser settings.
- Close the browser and reopen ChurchDesk.
- Try using a different browser.
"Time Registration" Module
Here, recorded working hours for individual users can be downloaded as an Excel file. Each user can download their own reports, but not those of other users.
How to Export Time Registration Data:
- Ensure that the Time Registration module is activated.
- Select the time period and the relevant user.
- The list can then be downloaded as an Excel file.
A report will be generated and sent to the email address associated with the user's account.
"Absence" Module
Here, you can filter and download employee absences.
How to Use the "Absence" Module:
- Select from various filter options, such as:
- Time period
- Groups
- Absence types
- Specific users
- You can customize the columns by clicking "Show columns".
- Export or print the list:
- Excel export for further editing
- Print function to print the document or save it as a PDF
Note: Absences can only be viewed and exported here. Any changes must be made directly in the Calendar.
