Here you can read about the three different options you have to sort and keep track of your contacts: Filters / Participant lists / Newsletter lists
FILTERS are contacts that match a set of filter criteria. Each time a contact is created that matches the filter, this contact will be associated with the filter and the lists associated with the filter. If you have created a list using a filter and you do not want more to be added to this list, delete the filter.
PARTICIPANTS LISTS is an easy administration of team lists. Used for time-limited activities. Participant lists make it easy to assign participants of different activities to the right teams. Read more about participant lists here
NEWSLETTER LISTS is a tab that contains the lists of the different newsletter lists. Read more about Newsletter lists here
