Create an event with sign-ups
If you want to create an event in the calendar, you can create the event with sign-up.
This is an interaction between calendar, contacts and forms that is suitable for one-off events such as a concert,
where you have a list of attendees and want to send confirmations of registrations.
To create an event with registration, click the blue ‘Create’ button in the calendar and select ‘Event’
We have several fields here including ‘Event details’, ‘Staffing’, ‘Registrations’, etc.

Start by creating all relevant information about the event - title, date, location and additional information,
In ‘Event details’, enter the relevant information for you, such as reserved resources, reserved users, main category, etc. You also have the option to add a short description and share your event on Facebook.
In the "Sign-ups" section, you can now choose to either add an existing form for this event or create a new form.

If you want to add an existing form, select ‘Add existing sign-up form’. Select the desired form and click ‘OK’ at the bottom.

If you want to create a new form, click ‘Add new sign-up form’. A field will open to configure a simple registration form. The name and email address of the person filling out the form will be automatically requested when the entire form is completed. ‘Number of tickets’ and “Max. number of tickets per response” are fields that you need to fill in in order to save the form. For the other options, select the ones that are relevant to you. Click ‘OK’ at the end to save your form.

The form you have added or created will be visible below as a preview once you have saved your event.

If necessary, you can edit the form by clicking ‘Edit form’ or remove it and then add a new form.

To check how many people have registered, open the event in the calendar, click on Sign-ups and see who has registered
|| You can also find the form under Forms in ChurchDesk and here you can also access information about Sign-ups.
Under Forms you can also add more tickets if the tickets are sold out and you want to add more. Select ‘Edit form’, click the orange button ‘Edit fields anyway’, scroll down to the field with tickets and click ‘Edit’. Please note that you cannot change the price as tickets have already been sold.
