Global Data is your content library where you can store all the essential details about your business, staff and services. Using Global Data makes it easy to add and change business relevant content throughout your website with a few clicks.

Apart from the convenience of having all your data in one place and fast production time, Global Data also automatically structures and marks up your information, helping search engines identify the type of content you have on your website.

Global Data for multi-language websites: You have the option to specify Global Data on a per-language basis if you have a multi-language website. The Editor will automatically match Global Data items with the relevant language on your website.

Business information

Business information is where you add basic information about your company, such as company name, address, contact information, etc.

Include Business Information on your website: Using business information from Global Data on your website is easy and efficient as the information will change throughout your website once you update it in Global Data.

The information about your church in the section of Global Data consist of four categories:

Category and conversion goal
Contact information
Address
Church information

Information included in the Business information section can also determine specific behavior on your website, for example the timezone selected determines whether your church is indicated as being open or closed in the Open now module.

Conversion goals: The conversion goal is the desired action that you want a visitor to take on the website, hopefully converting them into becoming a customer. It can be based on the following four types: neutral, email, phone and deal. The specific conversion goal selected will impact the design and layout of your website if it's based on a conversion-driven template. For example, if the goal is set to phone, the header may display a phone number while the goal email will display an email address or a contact form. The specific design is determined by the template used.

Opening hours

In this section you should enter your regular business hours, from Monday to Sunday. The opening hours are displayed in the Opening hours module on your website.

Click on the clock symbol on either the start or end time of the day to adjust the opening and closing times. Below the clock, you'll find the two options: All day and Closed. Use these options when your business is closed on a particular day or if it's open during the whole day.

Add opening hour intervals: You can add opening hour intervals, for example if you're closed for lunch. To add a new interval, click on the + icon on the right side of the relevant day.

Special opening hours

You have the option to include special opening hours for holidays, events or celebrations. Add special opening hours by clicking on the + Add Day button and fill in the relevant opening hour data.

Adding a cover image and logo in Global Data makes it easy to apply them on your website. There are two ways of adding a cover image and logo in Global Data:

Use existing image from File Library: click on Select from File Library and choose one of your existing images from the File Library.
Upload a new image: click on Add or drop file to select an image from your computer or drag and drop your image on the outlined area.

Images added here can be included in Gallery modules on your website. Add images to your gallery from the File Library in the Editor or directly from your computer.

Order of the images: The order of your images in the Gallery module will match the order in which you've added them in Global Data - you can't change the order directly in the module. Remember to organize your images in this Global Data section if you want a specific order. Change image order by dragging on an image and moving it to a new position.

To edit an image, click on the arrow next to the image file name and select the option Edit to open the Image Editor . You can now add a filter, resize or apply different effects to your image.

Add an alternative text to the image for improved search engine visibility. Add a caption to include a text below the image thumbnail in the gallery and/or when your visitors click on an individual image on the gallery to enlarge it.

Structured list

In this section, you can add structured lists of for example your products or services. These lists can be displayed in the List module on your website.

FAQ lists

Create lists of questions and answers to help visitors acquire knowledge about your products or services. These lists can be displayed in the FAQ list module on your website.

When creating a new FAQ list, you are required to give it a title. The title will not show anywhere on your website but helps you easily identify the specific FAQ list you want to add when using the FAQ list module.

After you have created an FAQ list, you can start adding elements to it. An element consists of one question and one answer.

Element limit: An FAQ list can contain up to a maximum of 50 question-answer pairs. If you want to add more than 50 questions, you need to split them up into two or more FAQ lists. You can create as many FAQ lists as you wish.

Insert links to relevant websites that you might want your visitors to visit. These links can be displayed in the Link and download module on your website.

Click on the Create new website link button and fill in the relevant link data. Drag on the six vertical dots on the left side of each website to reorder the links.

In this section you can add links to your social media pages. These links can be displayed in the Social media links module on your website.

Click on the Create new social link button and fill in the relevant social link data. Drag on the six vertical dots on the left side of each link to reorder them.

Downloads

Upload files for visitors to download from the Link and download module on your website.

To create a new download, click on Create and fill in the relevant download data.

Drag on the six vertical dots on the left side of each download to reorder them.

Add videos by pasting their URL. Display the videos in the Video module on your website.

Add a new video by clicking on the Create new video link button. Add a title, URL and description of the video you want to include.

Drag on the six vertical dots on the left side of each video to reorder them.

Accepted video formats: The video formats accepted are the following: MP4, WEBM, OGG, YouTube and Vimeo.
