Opening hours module

Add your opening hours to your website so your visitors know when you're open. All modules in this category are connected to your Global Data by default, so you can ensure the information is consistent across your entire website.

Add module

You can add an opening hours module by selecting Opening Hours under the "Company Information" category.

Use Global Data for your modules

It is highly recommended that you feed your company information from Global Data into these modules, as this ensures that your company information is applied uniformly across your entire website. The central updating of your information in Global Data means you don't have to go through your entire website every time you change a piece of information, such as your opening hours. You only need to update the information once and then republish the website. Read more about Global Data here.

Difference between Opening Hours and Opening Hours Footer/Header

The two opening hours modules are functionally identical, but the Opening Hours Footer/Header module is only available in the Add Module menu in the footer or header of your website. Having two modules gives you the option to define two different global designs - one for the general opening hours module and one for the opening hours footer/header module.

Edit module

Hover your mouse over the module -> click on "Module" -> click to edit and choose between Content, Design or Settings to edit your Opening Hours module.

Content

In the Content section, you can choose how you want to add your opening hours:

  1. Use Global Data source: Retrieve the times from Global Data by clicking "Use global data source".
  2. Add times individually: Manually add content by clicking on the date selector for the opening and closing times of each weekday and choosing either specific times or the All Day/Closed options.
  3. Add times as interval opening hours: Click the plus icon next to the respective day you want to add this information to. Another input field will appear below, for example, if you are closed for lunch.
  4. Special opening hours: You may have special opening hours on certain holidays, events, or anniversaries. Enter a title for days with special opening hours (e.g., Good Friday, Easter, Summer Holidays) and click + Add Day.

Design

In the Design section, you can, among other things, make local design adjustments for the background, border, or spacing of your opening hours module.

Click on "Edit Global Design" to get to the basic global settings for this module. You can also access this area by clicking on Design on the left side -> Modules -> Company Information.

Settings

In the settings, you have the following three options:

  • Group similar opening hours: Automatically group days with the same opening hours, so the module content takes up less space.
  • Title when closed: Define the text that is displayed on the module when your business is closed all day (the Closed option described above).
  • Title when open all day: Define the text that is displayed on the module when your business is open all day (the All Day option described above).

Changing the format of the opening hours

The editor gives you the option to choose the desired date and time format for display on your website for each language. To change the settings for displaying the date and time format for a specific language on your website, go to Pages -> Click on the "Deutsch" field -> Edit Language Settings -> Formats. Define how you want to display your opening hours by changing the date format, weekday format, weekday start, and 24-hour display.
