# Changing the background colours in Studio messages

## Step-by-Step Guide

*   Select the content area of the message which you want to change the colours for
*   On the right hand side you can change the colours - We recommend to change colours via the "Row properties" so that colour change applies nice to the entire selected row of content
*   In "Row properties" you can change the colour for the background (the margin colour) or for the content background
*   Simply click on the respective colour selector to make your switch
