# Adding a dynamic attribute such as a recipient name to a Studio message with Merge Tags

## Step-by-Step Guide

In Studio you can add dynamic attributes such as a recipients name to a message using Merge Tags in Studio. Here is how:

*   Go to a text area in you Studio message where you want to add e.g. a recipient name
*   Once the curser is placed where you want the information select "Merge Tags" in the menu which has popped up for the text area
*   Once you have clicked on "Merge Tags" you will find a set of attributes that you can add to your message here such a recipient first name, full name or even an unsubscribe link
