Add a video or audio file to the website
In this video you can learn how to add a video or audio file to your website, by either linking to the file, using YouTube, Facebook or SoundCloud.
To add a video/audio file to the website as a link you first have to upload the file to ChurchDesk Files. See how to upload a file here. The file size cannot exceed 50MB.
NB! ChurchDesk does not have an automatic video or audio player on the website, so by using this method, the video/audio file cannot be played directly on the website, but the visitor must download the file first.
Go to the page where you want to add the file and click on 'Edit'
Highligt the text that should be the link, for example "See the video here"
Click on the link-icon (LinkIt) and in the field "Search for content" write the file name
Chose the file from the dropdown
Choose if the link should open in the same tab or a new tab
Click on "Insert link"
Save the page at the bottom

Upload or find the video on YouTube
Click on the button "Share"
Klik på "Embed"

After you have clicked on 'Embed' you will get an iFrame code, that you need to copy and insert into your website:

Now you have copied the iFrame code from YouTube:
Go to the page on your website, where you want to embed the video
Click on 'Edit"
Click on 'Deactivate texteditor' under the textbox or the button "Source"
Insert the iFrame and finish by saving
Before you save, we would recommend that you make one change to the code to make the video width responsive:
Where it says: width="560"
Change it to: width="100%"

Click on the button with the three dots in the right corner below the video
Click on "Embed"
Copy the iFrame code

Now you have copied the iFrame code from Facebook:
Go to the page on your website, where you want to embed the video
Click on 'Edit"
Click on 'Deactivate texteditor' under the textbox or the button "Source"
Insert the iFrame and finish by saving

Find the audio file on SoundCloud
Click on "Share"
