1. How does it work?

We work with Stripe to accept payments. It is very easy, and you won't even notice that we are using a third-party provider. You get the security and reliability without having to use multiple systems.

With ChurchDesk you can manage everything from within ChurchDesk. We believe it doesn't get better.

3. What does it cost?

There will be taken a fixed fee (see table below) as well as 3.1% of the total amount on all transactions.

4. Which credit cards are supported?

With Stripe, we can accept payments from almost any credit card and debit card, no matter where your customer lives.

  • U.S. businesses can accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club.

  • Australian, Canadian, European, and Japanese businesses can accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

5. Which countries are supported?

With Stripe, you can accept payments from almost any credit card and debit card, no matter where your customer lives. In order to accept payments with Stripe, however, your business must be based in one of the countries Stripe supports below.

New countries are being added on a regular basis. Please read the full list here for more information as new countries might already be available.

6. Which currencies are supported?

We currently support the following currencies. However, we are happy to add new currencies upon request. Please just e-mail us at support@churchdesk.com.

  • EUR, USD, GBP, DKK

7. Do you support Gift Aid?

Yes, we do handle gift aid for churches and donors based in the United Kingdom. 

8. I have been asked to provide image verification for legal contract?

This means that our payment provider Stripe needs additional documentation. ChurchDesk will handle this on the customers behalf.

9. How does ChurchDesk transfer donation and payment funds?

Contribution periods are calculated 10 days before the last day of the month. The total amount within this period will be transferred to the parish account on the last banking day of the month.

Example: A parish contributions period could be between the 20th of June 2016 to the 21st of July 2016. Payments and donations from this period will be transferred on the 31st of July 2016.

Transfer receival can vary by 1-2 days depending on the parish bank.
