10.0 How to enable room booking calendar on your hompage

Ever had people contact your church to find out wether a room was available for hire at a certain time? With ChurchDesk you can show when rooms are occupied on your homepage. This creates a better experience for your homepage visitors and less administration for you. 

The room availability view will show when a room is occupied based on the ressource associated with an event in your calendar. 

Log in to your ChurchDesk


1. Navigate to Calendar

Ensure you are in the Calendar



2. Connect ressources to Room availability view 

Click Taxonomies


If the ressource is connected to Room availability it will have a green check mark

If you would like to connect another ressource, then click the Pensel icon to edit. 


Tick the box and Click Save


3. Insert the a room availability link on your homepage

Copy the link and insert it at a page or text view on your homepage.

Visitor on your homepage will meet this page when they click the click.
