Creating calendar views, blog views and text views is easy. Adding them to one of your pages is even easier. In return your website will update itself following the content you create in your system. It will sort your events by date and remove blog posts after your preselected definitions. All-in-all allowing you to focus on creating great content instead of administrative tasks.
1. Ensure that you are on the homepage
Tip: You will need to have the role Website in order to do so. If you don't have it your Administrator will be able to add it to your profile.
2. Add a content view to a page
Content view can be Text views, Calendar views, Blog views or Subscription views.
Click edit on any page on your homepage.
Under your body text you will be able to select your calendar views, blog views and text views. In this case we are adding a text view with opening hours to a contact page.
If you wish to add more than one views, click the Add another item button.
Tip: calendar events and blog posts are automated content. This will enable you to "add" and "remove" content to your homepage without boring editing.
3. Remove / Arrange content views on a page
Content views will display your selected content. Sometimes you may want to delete or re-arrange a content view.
Go to the page that contains your content views and click Edit. You can choose the left or right block. The content will be displayed in the order you choose.
